Thank you for your interest in being a project site for Day of Caring. This event is a unique opportunity for your organization to showcase your work in the community, establish relationships with local businesses and strengthen volunteers’ awareness of your mission while tackling large and small projects at your agency that otherwise may not be accomplished.
Project Site Applications are due by July 15th. Project requests will be reviewed by July 19th.
As we strive to create a positive impact in the areas of health, education and financial stability we are looking for projects that your non-profit may need assistance with on the Day of Caring. Teams will select their project based on the information you provide in your application. Teams want to end Day of Caring knowing they made a difference in Whitley County! Try to select creative and worthwhile projects that volunteers will enjoy and will make an impact on the services you provide.
You are welcome and encouraged to submit more than one project.
Ideally, projects will begin at 9:00am and will be completed by 3:00pm, although shorter projects can be accepted as well. Please make sure the project you select for your application can be completed in this time frame with volunteer labor. Allow time for briefing, set-up, break-down and lunch.
